The second part of our 800-year-old roof has been carefully taken apart and sent off to Atelier Ferignac, our expert craftsmen who specialize in restoring historic monuments.
Exposing the original 12th-century oak beams for the first time in centuries, these massive rafters will undergo an intricate restoration, piece by piece. In just a few months, they’ll return, fortified and revitalized, ready to be reinstalled to recreate the iconic ship-shaped roof of Château Cramirat.
