What’s Cooking in Our 15th-Century Fireplace? 🔥 Château Cramirat

Our conservator Melissa Donadeo is carefully uncovering layers of history around the 15th-century fireplace in the southern room of Château Cramirat.

Beneath the surface, the 15th century reappears: a once fully painted room featuring faux grey stone, fine white lines, and subtle touches of red, a true expression of medieval elegance and refinement.

At its center stands a Gothic fireplace. This richly decorated space was once a prestigious hall where life unfolded in all its forms.

Today, it is being transformed into an art and design gallery, shaping the future of this remarkable place.

Join us on this journey, back to the future, inside this living time machine at Château Cramirat as the restoration continues.
