Château Cramirat Collection

Derrière Le Miroir (Behind the Mirror) was a legendary French art magazine created by the famous art dealers Aimé and Marguerite Maeght in 1946, running 200 issues uninterruptedly for 36 years (until 1982).

DLM paired essays and poems with original color lithographs that were created and signed by the top artists of the day showcased at the Maeght Gallery in Paris. It is a unique snapshot of the evolution of twentieth-century Parisain art since the historic days immediately after WWII.
+
Lovingly curated, the magainze was both an exhibition catalogue for the Maeght shows as well as a source for artwork created specifically for the publication and offered at a lower price by masters such as Braque, Chagall, Miró, Matisse, Giacometti, Kandinsky, Chillida, Picasso, and many others.

The Château Cramirat Collection is a treasure trove of art and design by philosopher Anna Ravitzki and designer Dan Alexander, housed in a 12th-century Templar landmark in the Valley of Mankind, Périgord, France.
